Today we had to pack up to come home. Before we left Annaliese, Walter, and I took
a long walk to see the sound. We took
some fun pics and Walter enjoyed pushing Annaliese in the stroller. Annaliese slept most of the way home and then
we stopped at Kristen and Walter's to see their new place in Moyock. Annaliese and Walter ran around and had a
popsicle outside before we left. When we
got home we got everything cleaned up.
Annaliese was getting frustrated with all of the time cleaning up and
wanted my attention. When I couldn't
give it to her at the moment she got mad and threw the phone down. I was sad and walked away and covered my face
to have a quiet moment. She doesn't at
all like if I cover my face and said, "Mommy please talk to me" as
she's sobbing. I calmed her down and
explained that she cannot throw things down when she's mad.
Here are a few "grumpy" faces...I'd like to think it was a long weekend and she was just tired!
