Today we rode the Tide with Lani and Ava to Town
Point Park. Every Wednesday in the
summertime they have an outdoor play time with sprinklers, yard toys, and other
fun things. Annaliese and Ava loved
playing with the toys in the grass. We
had a picnic under the tree. The girls
got to pick prizes and color. Annaliese
also let Rip Tide pick her up to pose with a picture. This was Annaliese's first time in
sprinklers. At first we were just going
to let the girls run through them in their clothes because it was an extremely
hot day and we were getting ready to go home anyway but when I told Annaliese
she could go ahead and get her clothes wet she was really confused. She wasn't pleased and requested her
suit. So, we changed her and she went
back. She did a little better then but
was still a little hesitant. There were
many other big kids around that were rough housing so I don't blame her. What a great day!
