Birthday Girl (March 27, 2012)

I can't believe my baby turned 2 today.  Oh where, oh where did the time go?  I thank Eric everyday for allowing me the opportunity to see each moment through with our precious girl and to stay connected to her every milestone.  Being at home with Annaliese has been the best two years of my life...along with the years I started dating Eric, got engaged, got married, and found out we were expecting!  Today Annaliese had a great day with Daddy.  Since I had to work in the morning Daddy treated Annaliese to a fun filled day.  I gave Daddy the camera and told him to document their day until I got together with him and he did.  I hated having to work on her birthday but it was only for a couple of hours and she was with Daddy having fun anyway.  They started out at IHOP.  Eric asked her where she wanted to go to eat and of course she said, "Panera" what she always says.  But then he asked what she wanted to eat at Panera and she said pancakes so he decided to take her to IHOP instead...which she also likes.  The waitress found out it was her birthday and gave her an ice cream sunday to go with her breakfast...which she LOVED.  Then they went to another favorite place that her and Daddy like to go...the airport.  Ever since Eric took her for the first time to see the planes take off and land she has always loved it and asks him to take her all of the time.  After that we all met up at the mall so that Daddy could get her a pair of shoes.  Since Daddy loves shoes he decided that he wanted to start the tradition of taking Annaliese to get a new pair of shoes on her birthday.  We picked out some pink, plaid boat shoes.  After the mall she came home for her nap.  That night we met the family at her other favorite place, Krispy Kreme for donuts!  Our family has done many things together but going to get donuts was not one of them.  We decided that we might have to start this tradition for Annaliese's birthdays since everyone thoroughly enjoyed their KK donuts!  Overall ANT (this is what I often abbreviate her name to when writing) had an awesome birthday!
